The Taste of Fernie 2009 Home Page
Every September in Fernie, BC the best cooks in the city gather at CP Station Square, next to the Arts Station downtown, and showcase samples of their culinary skill. Local performers including musicians, singers, dancers and comedians display their talents on stage. And our local brewmeister from Fernie Brewery, along with a sommelier or two, provide refreshments. This all happens at a little event we call the Taste of Fernie. Circle September 18th & 19th on your calendars this year as a day for tantalizing your taste buds, tapping your toes and tipping a few. The event starts at 2pm and runs until 10pm.
This year's headliner on Saturday night will be Barney Bentall. The Fernie and District Arts Council and the Rotary Club of Fernie invite everyone to come out to this premier summer event. This will be the 10th year of the event and it promises to be more diverse, more fun and more Fernie than ever.
